Brief description

Proxer12 is an enhanced version of the highly successful Proxer7 reader.

The Proxer12 is a proximity card reader for reading RFID cards and transponders (transducers of various shapes such as bracelets or keychains). Proxer12 allows secure and easy identification e.g. in the identification of access cards, passes, authorization or point collection systems.

With the HF and FF types, a member of the new student card, the National Unified Card System (NEK), can also be read.

The Proxer12-FF (full frequency), also known as ALL READER, or multiclass reader, reads most of the RFID standards used in Hungary.

The Proxer22 is an exclusive elegant, glass-fronted wall version of the Proxer12, with exactly the same knowledge and functionality, with the same options and subtypes.

The Procontrol Proxer product family can be ordered with either an IoT reader with an Ethernet interface or an RS485 reader with wiegand output (Proxer22). In addition to reading RF, smart cards and smart cards, the Proxer52 is also a product suitable for data collection and control.

Proxer12 is an enhanced version of the highly successful Proxer7 reader.
Additional features of the Proxer12 (1910-17_R3) reader compared to the Proxer7 (1616-14_R6) reader- Tech release 03/12/2020:
• Better quality, more reliable scanning for all card types
• Enhanced read compatibility: iCode 2, iCode SLI, FDX Animal, Felica, TagIt Plus 3P read
• 125kHz transmitters, longer reading distance for Indala
• Improved Indala, KSF and Type2 handling
• New CardReaderManager is a modern, user-friendly utility with many new features
• The format of the desired data output can be set by the user: decimal, hex, shift, facility code, prefix, spec. insert characters, enter, etc.
• Setting a custom data output does not require a firmware change
• Wiegand waveform can be modified
• For multiclass cards, you can read (narrow down) data from both chips at the same time
• For Proxer12 and Proxer22 (1910 _R4 and 2027_R3), a 5V Wiegand interface voltage can already be selected.

Technical Description

The package includes a driver at a basic price and a sample program showing a simple API for the C # development environment, with which Proxer12 can be adapted to its own software application, e.g. for user authentication purposes. If required, we also provide utilities e.g. card UID is automatically copied to the clipboard during scanning. The firmware package can be downloaded from the Firmware Package link in the Support box on the right.

Types

The Proxer12 is available in different types, depending on whether you are using a low or high frequency RFID transmitter. The HF in the product code indicates the high frequency (13.56 MHz), while the LF indicates the low frequency (125/134 kHz). The FF product can receive both high and low frequency transmitters.

If you do not have accurate technical information about your existing card, contact our specialists and send a sample card!
Mifare Plus X, Mifare Desfire, Legic, HID iClass, HID Seos-E (Elite), Indala KSF, IoProx XSF, etc. cards typically contain encryption, unique number encoding. In the case of a reader / card order, knowledge of the encryption key is absolutely necessary for the satisfactory fulfillment of the demand, and the provision of the solution may require engineering development work even with the encryption key, we offer the tools at a unique price.

The product is able to connect to various interfaces, which is also indicated by the product code: U-micro USB connector, 232-RS232, W4-RS485 and Wiegand.
